3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation

- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

- You are responsible for all costs incurred with third-party providers
- You are responsible for complying with third-party service terms
- We encrypt and store your API keys securely but are not liable for unauthorized access
- You may revoke or change API keys at any time
4.2 Local AI Processing
- You may use local AI models (e.g., Ollama) through our platform
- Local processing occurs on your hardware; we do not have access to this data
- We are not responsible for the performance, accuracy, or reliability of local models
- Browser-relayed connections to localhost are your responsibility
4.3 Third-Party Service Relationships
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with third-party AI providers unless explicitly stated
- Third-party services have their own terms, privacy policies, and pricing
- We are not liable for changes, outages, or discontinuation of third-party services
- Integration availability may change without notice
5. User Content and Workflows
5.1 Your Workflows and Data
You retain all ownership rights to:
- Workflows you create
- Data you input or process through the Service
- Outputs generated by your workflows
5.2 License to FlowDot
By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your workflows and data to provide the Service
- Display your public workflows to other users (if you choose to make them public)
- Use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement and analytics
- Make technical copies necessary for backup and service operation
5.3 Public Workflows
When you publish a workflow publicly:
- You grant other users the right to view, copy, and modify your workflow
- You represent that you have the right to share all components of the workflow
- You retain copyright but allow community use under a permissive license
- Attribution to you as the original creator will be maintained
- You may unpublish workflows at any time, but copies made by others may persist
5.4 Content Standards
You agree NOT to create, share, or execute workflows that:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Are designed to harm, harass, or exploit others
- Scrape, mine, or extract data in violation of third-party terms
- Generate spam, phishing attempts, or fraudulent content
- Create or distribute illegal content (CSAM, terrorist content, etc.)
- Violate privacy rights or expose personal information without consent
- Circumvent security measures or access controls
- Conduct unauthorized penetration testing or security research on third parties
5.5 Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Review public workflows for compliance
- Remove workflows that violate these Terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
- We do not actively monitor private workflows but may investigate reported violations
6. The Visual Workflow Editor: Unrestricted Creative Power
6.1 Editor Capabilities
Our visual workflow editor provides extensive creative freedom:
- JavaScript Execution: Custom code nodes allow arbitrary JavaScript execution
- HTTP Requests: API nodes can call any HTTP endpoint
- Data Processing: Transform and manipulate data in unlimited ways
- Integration Flexibility: Connect to any service with an API
- Workflow Complexity: No artificial limits on workflow size or complexity
6.2 User Responsibility for Code Execution
IMPORTANT: The editor's power comes with responsibility:
- You are fully responsible for all code executed in your workflows
- You must ensure your workflows comply with all applicable laws
- You must respect the terms of service of any APIs or services you integrate
- You must not use the editor for malicious, illegal, or harmful purposes
- You are liable for damages caused by your workflows to yourself or others
6.3 No Sandboxing Guarantee
- Custom code executes in our infrastructure with reasonable security measures
- We implement security controls but cannot guarantee complete isolation
- You should not include sensitive credentials directly in code (use credential storage)
- We are not liable for security vulnerabilities in user-written code
- You execute workflows at your own risk
6.4 Resource Limits
While we don't artificially limit creativity, we enforce reasonable resource limits:
- Execution time limits prevent runaway processes
- Memory limits prevent resource exhaustion
- Rate limits prevent abuse and ensure fair usage
- Storage quotas based on account tier
- We may terminate workflows that exceed resource limits
6.5 Security Research and Penetration Testing
Prohibited Activities:
- Testing security of third-party services without explicit authorization
- Scanning or probing systems you don't own
- Attempting to access data you're not authorized to access
- Creating tools designed to exploit vulnerabilities in other systems
Permitted Activities:
- Security testing on your own systems with proper authorization
- Creating defensive security tools and workflows
- Educational security research on your own infrastructure
- Building workflows that enhance your organization's security posture
6.6 Acceptable Use of Unrestricted Features
The unrestricted editor is intended for:
- Legitimate automation and productivity workflows
- Creative applications and experimentation
- Business process automation
- Data analysis and research (on authorized data)
- Educational and learning purposes
- Building AI-powered applications
7. Usage Limits and Fair Use
7.1 Free Tier Limits
Free tier accounts have limits including but not limited to:
- Daily workflow execution limits
- Token/credit limits for AI operations
- Storage quotas
- API rate limits
- Concurrent execution limits
7.2 Paid Tier Limits
Paid tiers have higher limits based on subscription level. All limits are subject to our Fair Use Policy.
7.3 Fair Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Abuse free tier by creating multiple accounts
- Use the platform for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities
- Run continuous high-volume operations that degrade service for others
- Resell platform access without authorization
- Use automation to bypass usage limits
7.4 Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Throttle or suspend accounts exceeding fair use
- Require paid tier upgrade for high-volume usage
- Terminate accounts abusing limits
- Adjust limits to maintain service quality
8. Payment and Subscriptions
8.1 Pricing

- Refunds are prorated for annual subscriptions canceled within 30 days
- No refunds for third-party API costs incurred through BYOK

- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period
- No partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations (except as noted above)
8.5 Failed Payments
- We will attempt to process failed payments multiple times
- Accounts with failed payments may be downgraded to free tier
- You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information
- Unpaid balances may be sent to collections
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 FlowDot Platform
All rights, title, and interest in the FlowDot platform, including:
- Source code and software
- Visual design and user interface
- Trademarks, logos, and branding
- Documentation and tutorials
- Proprietary algorithms and methods
...are owned by the Company or our licensors.
9.2 License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Access and use the Service according to these Terms
- Use our client applications on your devices
- Access our API according to API Terms
- Use our branding when referring to the Service
9.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works (except through permitted customization)
- Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense access to the Service
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Frame or mirror any part of the Service without authorization
9.4 Open Source Components
The Service may include open source components subject to their own licenses. These licenses are available upon request.

- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
- SECURITY OR FREEDOM FROM VIRUSES
11.2 AI and Workflow Outputs
WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY REGARDING:
- Accuracy of AI outputs: LLMs can hallucinate, make errors, or produce unreliable results
- Workflow results: Community workflows may not perform as described
- Third-party services: We are not responsible for third-party AI provider outputs
- Decision-making: Workflows should not be solely relied upon for critical decisions
- Local AI models: Performance and safety of user-deployed models
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Verifying accuracy of workflow outputs before use
- Testing workflows before deploying in production
- Ensuring workflows meet your requirements
- Complying with laws when using AI-generated content
11.3 User-Generated Workflows
- We do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for community workflows
- Public workflows are created by users, not by FlowDot
- We do not verify the accuracy, safety, or legality of user workflows
- You use community workflows at your own risk
- Report malicious or problematic workflows to support
11.4 Third-Party Services and BYOK
- We are not responsible for third-party service availability, accuracy, or costs
- API key management is your responsibility
- We cannot guarantee compatibility with all third-party services
- Third-party service changes may break workflows without notice
- You are responsible for monitoring API usage and costs
11.5 Data Loss
While we implement backup systems:
- We are not liable for data loss or corruption
- You should maintain your own backups of critical workflows
- Service interruptions may result in lost data
- We do not guarantee data retention for any specific period
11.6 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or unavailability
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
- Errors in workflow execution or AI outputs
- Costs of third-party services accessed via BYOK
- Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if greater)
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO:
- Contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory
- Even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages
- Even if remedies fail their essential purpose
11.7 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FlowDot, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your workflows and their execution
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws
- Content you create, share, or process
- Your API keys and third-party service usage
- Unauthorized use of your account due to your negligence
13. Service Availability and Modifications
13.1 Service Availability
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
- Emergency maintenance may occur without notice
- We are not liable for service interruptions
13.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time
- Change pricing with 30 days notice for existing subscribers

14. Termination
